1. Road system
The city's road extends 1775 kilometers, among which there are 2 highways with total length of 60.4 km , a national road (the national road No. 104) of 45.9 km , 6 provincial roads with total length of 203.5 km , 20 roads belonging to counties in total length of 275.8 km , 365 roads of village level in total length of 1143 km , and specialized road of 46.6 km . Major trunk roads have been upgraded to national Å standard or above in terms of the road's hardness. Likewise, all the asphalt roads of county level conform to the national ‰ standard and above. All the counties of this city are  connected by Å standard road with the city urban area. With asphalt roads reaching 70% of the villages of this city, the road density is 119.5 km per hundred square km. The road transportation system can be highlighted as 8 vertical roads, 5 horizontal roads ,3 ring roads and 1 road connecting all.
2. Inland shipping
Tengzhou city lies west to Weishan Lake and Jinghang Canals . There are three large harbors along the lake, named respectively Tengzhou Harbor , Hongda Harbor and Jiaotong Harbor . Planned annual handle capacity of the three harbors is 2.2 millions tons, 500 thousand tons and 300 thousand tons respectively. At present, the total annual handle capacity is 3.5 million tons in real terms. These harbors locate 29 km away from the urban area with water depth staying above 3.5 meters all the year round. These harbors own channels of ‰ standard, allowing barge of 1.3 thousand tons.
3. Road transportation capacity
There are 11986 vehicles in this city, with total carrying capacity of 42.737 thousand tonnages. 908 passenger vehicles and 4993 vehicles for load-carrying consist a carrying capacity of 23456 tonnages, among which, there are 2269 large trucks (single carrying capacity above 4 tonnages) with carrying capacity of 18718 tonnages, 3336 medium and small trucks ( including medium van) with capacity of 6319 tonnages, 161 refrigerator vehicles and tankers with capacity of 1357.7 tonnages and 6085 low-speed vehicles for agriculture with capacity of 6351.4 tonnages.
